High performance Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge was first shown at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show, but the power-plant was shrouded in mystery.  Company’s president, Johan de Nysschen, hinted that the sedan would bring 500 horsepower.  Eau Rouge name refers to a famous Formula 1 corner and this performance variant has Audi’s S, BMW’s M, and Mercedes’ AMG cars straight in its crosshairs.  Infiniti has Sebastian Vettel, Formula 1 champion, providing development input.
Now, Infiniti released this teaser video clip and promises to spill the beans on the motor at the 2014 Geneva Auto Show next month. Â One thing is clear from the video, it has the sweet sound of a turbo-charged powerplant. Â Could it be the 3.8L twin-turbo from the Nissan GT-R? Â Competition should be worried.
