Seinfeld Is Back With More “Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee”

We’re going to get more of Jerry Seinfeld’s crazy series “Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee” when season three kicks off next week.

The third season of the series will once again have Seinfeld driving around in all sorts of cool cars as he chats about really important, life-changing things with his fellow comedians. You know, stuff like dreams, driving in Italy, how not to be a good talk show guest, and if Seinfeld can pee in front of other men. These are the things you need to know to get through your day, people!

He’s joined this season by an impressive roster of fellow comedians. Tina Fey, Howard Stern, Todd Barry, Louis C.K., and Patton Oswalt were all wrangled into a drive with Seinfeld in some pretty incredible cars. He goes for a ride in a Volvo P1800 with Tina Fey, a Pontiac GTO Judge with Howard Stern, and a Fiat Jolly with Louis C.K. I’m not sure if it’s more entertaining to look at the cars or listen to their banter.

A DeLorean also makes an appearance, although there doesn’t appear to be a flux capacitor in sight which I found disappointing. I mean, if you’re going to get a DeLorean it feels like there should be a law that you put a flux capacitor in there so, just in case Marty McFly drops by, you’re ready to travel through time.

There’s also a multi-rotor helicopter thing that flies along above them catching some overhead footage. It’s not quiet and makes it sound a little like Seinfeld is being stalked by a swarm of very loud and very angry bees, but that somehow manages to just add to the charm of it all.

You can catch Jerry, the coffee, the comedians and the cars when Season Three premieres on January 2nd.

And here’s our video of some unmistakable television and movie cars…

Nicole Wakelin fell in love with cars as a teenager when she got to go for a ride in a Ferrari. It was red and it was fast and that was all that mattered. Game over. She considers things a bit more carefully now, but still has a weakness for fast, beautiful cars. Nicole also writes for NerdApproved and GeekMom.
