Video: Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 snorts to life at the Geneva Auto Show

Like almost all Lamborghinis, the new Aventador LP700-4 is named after a fighting bull.

This fifth generation V12 supercar debuted today at the 2011 Geneva Auto Show in Switzerland in three different colors.

According to Lamborghini, the new 2012 Lamborghini Aventador will tear up the road with a new 691-horsepower motor paired to a new gearbox. The new supercar replaces the Murcièlago…which is good as that was almost an impossible name to pronounce for anyone not born in Italy.

Look for a 0 to 60 time in under 3 seconds, and if you buy one, you can even feel good about tearing up and down the road as Lamborghini says the new engine in the Aventador puts out 20 percent less carbon than the old car.
