AT&T has just announced that it double the speed of its wireless broadband network by 2011. At the same time the American Automobile Association has announced a new app that will allow members of the AAA to use "GPS technology to instantly identify nearby businesses offering deals for AAA members," according to the Associated Press.
This means that the next generation of iPhone will not only run the new AAA app faster, but will also potentially provide turn by turn directions to users.
According to Haliq.com:
The net generation iPhone will feature:
- 32GB and 16GB storage (up from the current 16GB and 8GB models)
- $199 and $299 price points to be maintained
- 3.2-megapixel camera (up from the current 2-megapixel camera)
However it must be noted that Apple is always very tight lipped about new products and release dates so this news should be taken with a grain of salt as it was obtained from a source beta testing the new iPhone in China.
