The all-new 2016 Nissan Maxima will be in showrooms later this year, but TFLcar’s Roman Mica is in Nashville to test drive it before anyone can buy it.
The new car has been redesigned from the ground up and features an upgraded version of the venerable 3.5-liter V6 that makes 300 horsepower, which is sent to the front wheels through an Xtronic continuously variable transmission.
Nissan said the inspiration for the Maxima’s styling is inspired by a jet fighter. It features the company’s new “floating roof” design that it shares with the new Murano.
But is the new Maxima a four-door sports car (4DSC) as Nissan claims? Roman will test drive the new car and the video will be live on June 3.
