Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) is teasing two vehicles before their official debut at the 2015 New York Auto Show. They are the all-new and all-aluminum 2016 Jaguar XF luxury sports sedan and the special ultra-luxury version of the 2016 Range Rover.
The XF is a complete redesign based on Jaguar’s aluminum architecture. It promises to be luxurious, comfortable, and fast. It’s aimed squarely at the Mercedes-Benz E-class and the BMW 5-series. Expect it to use supercharged gasoline engines and a diesel version at a later date. All wheel drive configurations are also expected.
TFLcar knows that Jaguar have spent a lot of time and effort testing the new XF. We have seen XF prototypes on numerous occasions testing at high altitude.
Very few details are known about the 2016 Range Rover ultra-luxury model. Range Rover says that it will be “the most luxurious Range Rover ever produced”. We thought the Range Rover Autobiography Black long wheelbase already reaches to the stratosphere with a price tag of $185,030. However, Range Rover wants to go further with the new model.
