There aren’t any huge changes for the Mazda3, but it does get a few quality-of-life tweaks.
As it enters its sixth year in production, the 2025 Mazda3 brings a few minor changes to the table. Last year brought in a larger infotainment screen and more standard technology across all models, while the company’s latest announcement includes Amazon Alexa Built-in as part of the feature list on all but the base 2.5 S trim. Amazon Alexa connectivity includes the ability to control climate temperature and radio settings through voice commands, among other conveniences.
Another tech update is Mazda Online Navigation. Rather than having to update the car’s on-board SD cards with new maps, Premium and higher models will now be able to get these updates over-the-air.
2025 Mazda3 Hatchback models will arrive at dealers first this summer. After they arrive, the sedan will hit showrooms in early fall.
The entry-level 2.5 S also returns for the hatchback, where it had before only been available with the sedan. That means the 2025 Mazda3 hatchback now starts off at $26,135 including Mazda’s $1,185 destination fee.
As before, the 2025 Mazda3 lineup starts off with a naturally aspirated 2.5-liter engine, putting out 191 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque. Turbo models, on the other hand, manage 250 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque, with the least expensive Turbo model (the Carbon Edition sedan) starting at $33,285. All-wheel drive is available on the 2.5 S Carbon Edition and Turbo models, while the front-wheel drive 2.5 S Premium hatchback still offers a 6-speed manual transmission (for $31,835).
