2020 Kia Telluride TFL Expert Buyer’s Guide: Here’s How You Can Spec A Fully-Loaded Model Over $50,000

The base model starts at $32,735

2020 Kia Telluride S

2020 Kia Telluride S: ($35,035 to $37,035, depending on options)

Stepping up to the S trim nets a few more creature comforts over the LX, as you’d expect. 20-inch alloy wheels — a step up from the 18-inch wheels on the LX. On top of that, you get heated front seats and a power sunroof.

While the base LX trim offers 8-passenger as seating standard, the S has seven seats with second-row captain’s chairs. However, Kia will add the 8-seat configuration back to the S for a $100 extra. The 2020 Kia Telluride S also adds Dark Moss — a sort of greenish-brown color — as an option. Snow White Pearl, Sangria (red) and Ebony Black are still $395 options. The S has either a grey-on-black or black-on-black interior.

Heated front seats come standard on S trims and up.

Unless you want bigger wheels and a sunroof, it may be worth sticking to the standard LX trim. The extra bits of satin chrome trim and dual exhaust tips also don’t justify the price hike, in my mind. You do get standard roof rails though, which may be a consideration if you’re looking to fit a roof storage box.
