2018 GMC Terrain Denali: 3 Things to Know [Video]

The Terrain: Turbo 4, Luxury, All-New

In this video, Andre of TFL interviews Sean Greatrex, Marketing Manager for the GMC Terrain. While this video is brief, Andre has an opportunity to take the all-new GMC Terrain Denali for a ride. After the embargo drops, we will be able to furnish you with driving impressions and more.

But here’s what we CAN tell you: The 2018 GM crossover is completely-new, and we tested this luxury rig in Pennsylvania. Sporting an all-new exterior, the 2018 Denali is the most luxurious Terrain in the fleet. A 252 horsepower, turbocharged, 4-cylinder 2-liter engine is mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission. It makes 260 lb-ft of torque. It’s available in front and all-wheel drive (AWD) variants.

GMC completely change the look of the GMC Terrain Denali. With a new body and interior, it appears the only thing the 2018 GMC shares from the previous model is the name and, perhaps, some badging. It is a luxury vehicle that will compete in the hotly contested compact luxury SUV (crossover) segment. This explains the price. The “as tested” MSRP for a AWD version is $43,995.00. It comes with a host of electronic and luxury features including: around-view monitoring, parking assist, heated and cooled seats and the ability to tow up to 3,500 lbs.
