Dany Garand, exterior designer of the 2015 Audi A3, made this Audi A3 event pretty awesome. Every once in a while, we get something special and unique out of a press event. It happened at the 2015 Audi A3 press event during the product presentation. We watched Dany Garand, the Audi designer who penned the new 2015 A3, sketch the design and explain how it came to be. All before our eyes and all during a rather long product presentation.
The talent on display with Mr. Garand’s sketch made the presentation more than worth the wait.
We recorded the entire exterior design sketch of the 2015 Audi A3 in detail and managed to get a few minutes with Mr. Garand. It should be noted that, in this age of computer aided design, sketching automotive exteriors is a seldom seen and vanishing art. We were lucky to be there.
