Throwback Thursday: 2010 Subaru Outback 3.6R Review

Are you looking for a vehicle that’s a little bit more rugged? One that can fit your skis in winter and your surfboard in the summer? Check out Throwback Thursday, TFLcar.com’s latest section that features Roman and Nathan’s take on cars that are at least one year old.

This week, we take another look at the 2010 Subaru Outback 3.6R. The Outback contains a 3.6 liter flat-6 with 256 horsepower and a 5-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. Roman took it from 0-60 mph in 7.69 seconds at a a mile above sea level; not bad for a naturally aspirated vehicle. With great handling and symmetrical all-wheel-drive, the Outback performs admirably in snow and off-road situations.

While the looks are debatable, there’s tons of room for the kids and plenty of extra space for storage. It’s not a WRX, but the Outback will get you to your destination in comfort with no fear of adverse weather.
