The 2013 2013 Ford Fiesta and the Toyota Prius C and the Scion IQ are the ultimate city cars.
They are all small , fuel efficient and they barely seat 4 people. In others they are great cars for the city where parking space is at a premium. All three vehicles are interpretations on what a small, frugal vehicle should be.
The 2012 Ford Fiesta is the most simplistic and uses a regular gas engine with a regular six-speed transmission- which is an automatic transmission in this case.
The Scion IQ has a tiny, conventional gas engine, but it uses a continuously variable transmission (CVT). It has an unconventional interior setup that can hold three average sized adults with the fourth seat, behind the driver, as a small cargo spot or a place to add a baby seat.
Toyota’s Prius C is a mix of both vehicles with a technically advanced hybrid power plant. It has a similar interior layout as the Ford Fiesta and a similar CVT like the Scion IQ’s.
These components make all three vehicles slow and frugal.
They can also be a hoot to drive and for many people they are the perfect first car because they are inexpensive.
But which of these three cars is the most fun to drive, which one handles the best and which one is the fastest from 0-60 MPH? Find out in another fun, informative and entertaining TFLcar mashup review.
