The 2015 Chevy Corvette Z06 Convertible made its official debut at the New York Auto show just last night with an LT4 6.2L supercharged V-8 engine expected to deliver at least 625 horsepower and 635 lb-ft of torque. This is the first Z06 convertible that’s been offered since way back in 1963.
The supercharged LT4 comes with a seven-speed manual transmission with Active Rev Match and has an available 8L90 eight-speed paddle-shift automatic transmission. The seven-speed manual features rev-matching for upshifts and downshifts and a new dual-mass flywheel and dual-disc clutch improve shift quality and feel through lower inertia.
