Ford’s electric crossover is officially coming November 17, according to the company’s official media channels.

We’ve seen a few teasers up to this point, but there’s not much official information on the Mustang-inspired model. Ford originally called this model the Mach 1, but reversed course after a chilly reception to using that iconic name on an EV. Like other teasers we’ve seen, the sketch above and 22-second video below shows plenty of distinctive Mustang cues. Although, this car naturally has a bit extra at the back denoting its crossover design.

Ford’s Mustang-inspired electric crossover will go on sale sometime in 2020.

This is Ford’s first ground-up EV, as it’s arriving before the likes of the F-150 and the brand’s planned range of battery-electric models. We’ll have much more information in November, as this reveal will kick off our LA Auto Show coverage.
