Ford v Ferrari – Yeah, we’re stoked.
The TFL staff is extremely excited about Ford v Ferrari movie. We’re excited about the cars, the detail, the cast and the actual storyline Disney and 20th Century Fox put together. This was an epic battle and, in many ways, this rivalry reshaped the automotive and racing world.

For those of you who don’t know, Ford v Ferrari takes place in 1966 at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, in France. At the time, Ferrari was one of the most dominate automakers to race at Le Mans – which is, in itself, one of the most challenging automobile races in the world. It still is.
Ford v Ferrari opens on November 15, 2019.
This is a longer, far more detailed trailer than the first one. Disney has serious resources. The cast and cinematography look epic. I think the film is definitely worth getting excited for. I can tell my spouse that the movie has Matt Damon and Christian Bale in it. Oh, and that it’s a Disney drama. That should insure her enthusiasm too.

“20th Century Fox has released a new trailer and poster for their upcoming film FORD v FERRARI, based on the remarkable true story of the visionary American car designer Carroll Shelby (Matt Damon) and the fearless British-born driver Ken Miles (Christian Bale).The film follows Shelby and Miles, who battled corporate interference, the laws of physics, and their own personal demons to build a revolutionary race car for Ford Motor Company and take on Enzo Ferrari at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in France in 1966. FORD v FERRARI also stars Jon Bernthal, Caitriona Balfe, Tracy Letts, Josh Lucas, Noah Jupe, Remo Girone and Ray McKinnon. It will be released on November 15 by The Walt Disney Studios.”
