A Lexus, an Irish Dance, and a Charity: Testing the RX 350L and Supporting a Good Cause [Video]

Today’s TFLcar video involves a Lexus, an Irish dance (more on that in a minute), and supporting a charity for adults with disabilities and children.

Sometimes, when we’re invited out on press events for a new car, we get a chance to do something special. Indeed, that’s the case in today’s TFLcar video as we try out the Lexus NX 300 and the RX 350L. But this isn’t just an ordinary car review – this is a review with a difference, as we got to help a local charity! Benevilla, a Phoenix area non-profit organization, helps seniors, adults with disabilities, children and their families by providing support services. Today, as TFL’s Roman Mica takes the opportunity to drive two of Lexus’ newer products, he also has a mission. That mission, presented Mission: Impossible style, is to get supplies to donate to this charity.

Along the way, we learn a bit more about Lexus’ new NX 300. For instance, that an Irish dance won’t set off the kick sensor for the power tailgate. Apart from that, the new three-row Lexus RX L (pictured below) has 4.4 more inches added to its length to accommodate two more passengers. Three row crossovers like the RX 350L can accommodate smaller passengers in that back row with ease, but what about two taller guys? Will two adults over six feet tall fit in the third row of Lexus’ stretched RX? You’ll have to watch the video above to find out! It’s worth sticking around until the end, especially if you’re a fan of “cake shakes”.
