2018 Acura TLX to Get an Update: Refreshed Model to Make World Debut April 11, 2017 [News]

Acura has announced that they will be unveiling the 2018 Acura TLX in New York on April 11, 2017. Although we are given a teaser look at the new car, we have yet to see the whole thing. However, Acura says the 2018 Acura TLX will have a more aggressive and sporty look. To quote the press release directly, this debut will feature a “refreshed and significantly enhanced 2018 TLX performance sedan”, following the design language of the Acura Precision concept debuted in Detroit in 2016, a style which can also be seen on the 2017 Acura MDX, if you need another reference point.

Acura claims a significant upgrade in the technology department as well, saying that the TLX will be “among the most technologically advanced and well-equipped cars in its segment”. While we don’t have any information on said technology yet, you can watch the debut live April 11 at 4:45 p.m. ET.

Until then we can only speculate, and reflect on our thoughts of Acura’s current offerings. We recently had an opportunity to, not only test drive the 2017 Acura MDX, but also compare it to its older 2007 model year counterpart. Why not see how these vehicles compare, while you wait to hear more about the 2018 Acura TLX, by watching the video below:
