2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon

How much cold air does the upcoming 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon really need? The answer – it’s never enough! How much power can this support? Dodge fitted the Demon with a huge and functional hood scoop. The scoop measures 45.2 square inches and feeds the air to through the hood to a low restriction air filter that feed the giant supercharged. The system is called “Air Grabber”. That makes a lot of sense.

Dodge released the next teaser video that also shows both inner headlights as additional air intakes, versus just the driver-side headlight intake on the current Challenger Hellcat. How much power is the Demon HEMI putting out? There were rumors of 850-900 horsepower, and all the air intake business we see here make those numbers more believable.

Here is the latest video from Dodge.

The 2018 Demon is shaping up to be an extreme drag racing machine, but it should also be a great standing mile racer. Here is our TFLcar Hellcat at the Colorado Mile race.
