Last week, TFLcar reported on the new Chevrolet Traverse and GMC Terrain that will debut at the 2017 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. Now, Chevy has teased its part of the reveal ahead of the show.
The all-new Traverse will share a platform with the GMC Acadia that just came out this year, but it won’t be quite as downsized. In fact, Chevrolet said that the new midsize crossover will have the most cargo room and third-seat legroom in the segment.
The teaser photo released by the company is just a smoky silhouette, but it does show a familial resemblance to the recently revealed compact Equinox crossover that will go on sale next year. In many ways, it looks like an upsized Equinox, which isn’t a bad thing. It may not be a groundbreaking design, but it’s tasteful and handsome, and looks to be another attractive offering in the Chevrolet lineup.
The Traverse will debut on January 9 at the Detroit show. TFLcar will be at the event to cover all the breaking news and new-car reveals, so stay tuned to TFLcar.com for more updates from the show and leading up to the show.
