Guess this door handle: This week’s auto-visual quiz

Last week we posted some close-up shots of a 2016 Mini Cooper S convertible to test your knowledge of filler caps and other tidbits from around the car. While we had no doubt in your ability to identify the vehicle, some of you were more specific than expected.

The Cooper S convertible was a fun little car to drive. Its BMW-sourced 2.0-liter turbo and 6-speed transmission make it capable of both spirited acceleration and fuel efficient driving, depending on which mode you select. But all good things must come to an end; the Mini is gone and here you can see some close ups of the latest car to enter the TFL fleet. Can you guess what it is?

Here are some hints about the car to help in case you get stuck:

  • Its roots can be traced all the way back to Czechoslovakia.
  • The latest redesign was meant to help bridge the gender gap that previously existed among consumers.
  • While the vehicle has sporting pretensions, it also faces some stiff competition from a close relative.
  • The review camera on the car remains hidden until it’s called upon for use.

We will be making a video with this car soon. If you know what it is and have suggestions for what we should do with it, please let us know in the comments below. If you’re stuck, just relax and enjoy this completely UNRELATED video of the Fiat 124 Spider from a recent drive event in San Diego.
