We’ve taken the 2015 VW Golf TDI and the 2014 VW Beetle R-line Turbo out on the track, but now we’re doing reviews and putting the two Volkswagens head-to-head. The Beetle comes with a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline 4-cylinder with 210 horsepower and 207 lb-ft of torque all paired to an automatic. The VW Golf TDI has a 2.0-liter TDI with 150 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque hooked up to a 6-speed manual. We review both cars, comparing the two to decide which is the better VW.
