The 2014 BMW X5 and the 2015 Volvo XC60 T6 are both tall crossovers that don’t compete against each other but they are similar in one very important way: they both use 2X the usual amount of forced induction. In plain English that means that the 2014 BMW X5 is twin turbocharged, while the Volvo is supercharged and turbocharged. A super-turbo.
So which one is faster in around a racetrack? In part 2 of this super-turbo versus turbo-turbo mashup, Nathan and Roman find out the fun way, by seeing which one is faster at a hot lap.
Thanks to IMI Motorsports for providing the racetrack.
