The 2014 Range Rover Evoque is one sexy beast.
Even 3 years after it was first put into production in 2011, the Range Rover Evoque is still by far the best looking small Crossover in the land.
You’d be hard pressed to tell that this curvacious car shares a platform and engine with the Ford Escape (which is also easy on the eyes).
This beautiful Loire Blue Evoque was just delivered to our office for a week’s worth of driving and reviewing fun.
The new 9 speed transmission is crazy cool.
Do we really need 9-speeds in a car?
Perhaps not but the old car was rated at 19 MPG in the city and 28 MPG on the Highway with a combined EPA number 22 MPG. With the new 9 speed transmission and Eco mode the 2014 model gets 21 MPG in the City and 30 MPG on the Highway with a combined EPA number of 24. Those are MPG numbers that you can quite literally take to the bank when you fill us less often at the pump.
Please stay tuned for a complete review of the 2014 Range Rover Evoque once we’ve spend a week behind the wheel getting to know the new car and 9-speed transmission better.
