2014 GMC Sierra: Everything you’d ever want to know about the new trucks interior design

The brand new 2014 GMC Sierra is a giant Tonka toy of a pickup truck. But the new Sierra’s design is more than just skin deep.

In another exclusive TFLcar video we not only show you the truck interior design but, with the help of the truck’s lead interior designer, we also show you the thinking that went into the design of the interior. As we’re sure you are aware, the new 2014 Sierra shares almost all of it’s basic design with the new 2014 Chevy Silverado so what’s true for the Sierra’s interior design also holds true for the Chevrolet.

According to GM, “The all new interior on the 2014 GMC Sierra SLT features a new 6-gauge instrument panel with a  4.2-inch color Driver Information Center (DIC) controlled by buttons on the steering wheel.”

Editor’s note: Considering how far behind General Motors was, when it came to truck interior design, things are looking up. I have driven every truck the General sells and their older interiors were crap – or at least, they were cheap. Ram has recently shown the way with Ford following close behind.

Finally, GM is stepping up – I hope.
