A Successor to the McLaren P1 is Almost Here: McLaren Ultimate Series Teaser Image Released [News]

The McLaren P1 and P1 GTR are two of the fastest, most ridiculous vehicles on the road today. These vehicles are a part of a new breed of hypercar that is redefining the way we think of speed. Making use of as much race technology as they possibly can, McLaren have made two vehicles that are quite literally race cars for the road. However, a successor to these vehicles is in the works as a part of the McLaren Track22 business plan. This is a model in which McLaren plans to release 15 new models (or variants) by the year 2022. This teaser image gives us a hint at the next vehicle in the McLaren Ultimate Series.

McLaren Ultimate Series

The McLaren Super Series is currently made up of the 720S, which is an insanely fast vehicle. This new addition to the Ultimate series will be an evolution and improvement upon the P1 and P1 GTR. And, like its predecessors, this vehicle will be available in strictly limited numbers.

However, we still have a little time to wait before we get to see the whole car. McLaren has announced that the full reveal will be online on December 10, 2017, at 00:01 GMT (7:00 PM EST).
