It looks like the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon will be built to upstage the Dodge Challenger Hellcat on the drag-strip. There is very little information available about the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon right now, but, from what the attached video has shown, it looks like FCA is going for broke. This could be the ultimate version of the Dodge Challenger Hellcat.

The name “Demon” was first used by Dodge in 1971.

“Most cars attempt to be everything to everybody. Then there are the rare few that revel in a single objective, rendering them totally irresistible to a subculture,” said Tim Kuniskis, Head of Passenger Car Brands – Dodge, SRT, Chrysler and FIAT – FCA North America. “The Dodge Challenger SRT Demon is conceived, designed and engineered for a subculture of enthusiasts who know that a tenth is a car and a half second is your reputation.”

The video attached to this post is called “Cage” by the folks at FCA. It’s a teaser video that gives you clues as to what the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon is. According to FCA, “Fans are encouraged to watch the 90-second “Cage” video multiple times at www.ifyouknowyouknow.com for clues to follow the story of what’s next from Dodge and SRT.” They go on to say, “Dodge will promote the teaser campaign on its Facebook, Twitter and Instagram social media pages, directing fans to www.ifyouknowyouknow.com and encouraging them to use the hashtag #DodgeDemon.”

Look for the official unveiling of the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon to happen right before the 2017 New York International Auto Show.
