Completely redesigned for the new model year, the 2015 Hyundai Sonata has received several enhancements, notably to driving dynamics. Hyundai says their engineers worked extensively on steering feel in particular, emphasizing feedback and driver involvement.
Augmenting this, the new Sonata features a Drive Select program, employing “eco,” “normal,” and “sport” driving modes, each of which altering shift patterns, throttle response and steering feel.
The twin-scroll-turbocharged 2.0-L four-cylinder engine is actually down 29 HP compared to last year (245 HP vs 274 HP), but Hyundai claims 0-60 times shouldn’t change from last year’s 6.4-second number.
