Makers and Breakers: 2015 Volvo V60 T5 – the Good and the Bad

2015 Volvo V60 T5

The 2015 Volvo V60 T5 is a modern take on the traditional wagon. It’s definitely not an SUV or a crossover.  It has a lower profile that’s fast and sleek.  The new V60 has elements of Volvos of yore.  It has a powerful turbocharged engine (240 hp / 280 lb-ft with overboost) that powers the front wheels and has a fair amount of torque steer.  Remember the Volvo 850 Wagon from the 1990s?

However, it has many modern qualities as well.  The boxy old design made way to sexy curves.  The engine is more powerful and more fuel efficient.  And the new car has the brakes and the suspension to compliment the power.  After all, it’s still a fun and quirky wagon.

In this brand new TFLcar segment called “Makers and Breakers”, we’ll tell you the reasons you’ll love the 2015 Volvo V60 T5 as well as the reasons it might not be the right car for you.
