The 2013 Dodge Durango and Chevy Traverse are both three row family haulers that directly compete against each other in the market place.
Both Crossovers offer exceptional room, towing ability and of course horsepower.
The HEMI Dodge Durango is the heavyweight horsepower champ but that comes at a price….a combined MPG of only 15 while the Chevy Traverse manages 19 MPG with the smaller and less powerful six cylinder engine.
You would think that the almost 100 horsepower advantage of the HEMI V8 powered Durango would translate to a much faster vehicle in a straight line.
