Take A Look At The Beautiful New Bentley Flying Spur

Bentley Flying Spur 13

Here’s your first look at the beautiful new Bentley Flying Spur which will be officially unveiled at the Geneva Auto Show on March 5th. This is the fastest, most powerful four-door Bentley ever and it features all the upscale styling and luxury that’s synonymous with the Bentley name.

The exterior of the Bentley Flying Spur is characterized by a wider, lower stance that’s carried through design elements from front to back. There’s a lower roofline and an upright chrome grille flanked by LED headlamps with a wider lamp at the outside and a lower, longer trunk.

Inside there are 600 new parts that together provide a luxurious, elegant ride for the driver and passengers. The Bentley Flying Spur is available in four or five-seat configurations with leather, 14-way adjustable seats with lumbar support.

Ten square meters of sustainably sourced natural wood are used in each car in the fascia panels, consoles, waistrails and picnic tables. It flows from the dashboard to the door panels to enhance the wraparound effect of the interior design.

The Bentley Flying Spur also features state-of-the-art technology including an infotainment system with an 8″ touchscreen, satellite navigation, Bluetooth and voice activation. There’s also an eight-channel, eight-speaker audio system that can play music from the on-board hard drive, CDs, DVDs, SD cards and iPods.

The car is powered by a 6.0-litre, twin turbocharged, 48-valve W12 that delivers 616hp at 6,000 rev/min and 580 lb-ft of torque from only 2000 rev/min. The W12 is backed by the new eight-speed, quick-shift automatic transmission now featured in all Bentleys. In the Bentley Flying Spur, it’ll let you reach a top speed of 200 mph in elegant, refined style.

Nicole Wakelin fell in love with cars as a teenager when she got to go for a ride in a Ferrari. It was red and it was fast and that was all that mattered. Game over. She considers things a bit more carefully now, but still has a weakness for fast, beautiful cars. When not drooling over cars, Nicole writes for Wired’s GeekMom.
