The first recall is related to the windshield wipers as they may fail to work. This recall went out for 33,341 Honda Odyssey minivans earlier this month.
The second recall is a bit more extreme as the driver and passenger’s door glass may shatter. “The window may shatter into the passenger cabin, causing a risk of injury to the vehicle occupants.” – – NHTSA
The door glass may fall off the power window track. If that happens and the power window is summoned to move, the glass may shatter. There have been 97 claims via warranty regarding this issue, although Honda’s website says that no crashes or injuries have occurred as a result of the defect.
According to Honda, it was a mistake made by the supplier.
This recall should begin April 15th with dealerships replacing one or both side windows. If you have any questions, we urge you to call Honda at 1-800-999-1009.
With all of these recalls and difficulty in procuring auto-parts, I thought you would like some cheering up. Check out the video!
