Video: Stunning Scion FR-S sexy red sports car concept debuts at New York Auto Show

Scion unveiled the stunning and sexy red FR-S concept sports car at the New York Auto show wowing the crowd and the media. The first rear-wheel drive boxer engined Scion sports car made a mad splash in look-at-me-red.

Why?

Because under the hoof of the little red dress on this new Scion is a normally aspirated 2.0-liter Boxer flat-four that comes with either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission.

The Scion FR-S concept rides on 20-inch wheels with massive of 18-inch carbon ceramic brake rotors.

At the New York Auto Show Jeep debuted the 2012 Grand Cherokee SRT8 and you guessed it…it is now the fastest Jeep ever.

Packing a rock or track crushing all-new 6.4-liter HEMI V8 engine that puts out 465 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque. the new 2012 Grand Cherokee SRT8 will go from 0 to 60 mph in 4.8 seconds and demolish the quarter mile in about 13.5 seconds.

Stephen Colbert made a surprise appearance at the New York Auto Show and challenged Virgin’s Richard Branson and Microsoft’s founder Mark Allen to a sail boat race to Bermuda.

Audi is sponsoring Colbert’s sail boat and the Comedy Central comedian used the occasion to not only one-up the man-child millionaires, but to announce the partnership with Audi.

Srt8 Less than 24 hours from now Chrysler is set to unveil the newest 2012 Chrysler 300C SRT8 at the New York Auto Show.

The new 2012 Chrysler 300C SRT8 promises to be more refined, probably faster, and certainly much more svelte than the old car.

Unlike the old 300C SRT8, the new 2012 300C SRT8 model has been influenced by the Italian design that went into the new 300C.

Is this a good thing or a bad thing?

Does this mean that America’s most gangster sedan is now all grown-up, and ready to leave the family bad boy bada bing business for normal a life of respectability and virtue.

Time will certainly tell, actually not all that much time to be sure.
