Genesis’ popular GV70 SUV gets a new, sportier ‘Graphite’ model.
The 2026 New York Auto Show officially opens to the public on Friday, April 3, and automakers are hitting the scene with everything from whole new models to new options for their existing cars. This year, Genesis has a new option for its GV70 SUV with the Prestige Graphite model.

At the top end of the GV70 lineup, the Prestige already brings all the available features to the GV70, while the ‘Graphite’ part adds in a darker and more aggressive look, similar to what already launched on the G70 sedan.
The 2027 Genesis GV70 Prestige Graphite starts off with new 21-inch dark metallic wheels, as well as red-painted brake calipers and gloss black mirror caps. Dark chrome accents also set the Graphite apart from the GV70’s other trims. Two new exterior colors are also available to spec in this trim: Ceres Blue Matte and Bering Blue.

On the inside, the Prestige Graphite features Ultramarine Nappa leather upholstery with suede inserts, Genesis logos embroidered on the headrests, red seatbelts and red contrast stitching. This trim also gets a different startup animation on the dashboard display to other GV70 models.
Under the hood, the 2027 Genesis GV70 Prestige Graphite still gets the same powertrain as the Sport Advanced and Sport Prestige models. A 3.5-liter turbocharged V6 engine puts out 375 horsepower and 391 lb-ft of torque, through an 8-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive.
While Genesis debuted the Prestige Graphite trim during the New York Auto Show, we don’t know exactly when it will arrive or how much it will cost yet. The existing 2026 Genesis GV70 Sport Prestige starts at $72,590, and I suspect the Prestige Graphite won’t pack a huge premium over that model.
