If just owning a Bronco Raptor doesn’t go far enough for your liking, this Black Appearance package aims to set it further apart.
From the Cascades to the Appalachians, the 2024 Ford Bronco Raptor is one of the beefiest and brawniest-looking factory off-roaders around at the moment. Nevertheless, there’s always something Ford can do to take things at least a little bit farther, and that’s what we have here. The 2024 Bronco Raptor Black Appearance package aims to make your badass off-roader look even more sinister, with (as the name suggests) a host of blacked-out exterior pieces. And this package can be yours for another $4,995 on top of the Bronco Raptor’s $91,930 base price.
For that, you get a black-painted roof, for a start. To that, Ford adds more contrast with Shadow Black-painted mirror caps, fender flares and roll bars. The steel bumper, skid plate and tow hooks come in matte black. Apparently, plenty of folks already took to painting their factory skid plates black, so Ford is saving you the trouble if you want to fork over the extra cash.
Appropriately, Ford chose today’s solar eclipse that darkened skies over North America to reveal this special appearance package. It’s unfortunate it doesn’t have a more evocative name, but at least here you know exactly what you’re getting. This new option comes in a similar vein to Code Orange, which the Blue Oval introduced with the 2023 Bronco Raptor.
Like the Code Orange, the 2024 Ford Bronco Black Appearance package retains the model’s already potent powertrain. Under the hood, you get a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged EcoBoost V6 putting out 418 horsepower to some properly beefy 37-inch BFGoodrich KO2 all-terrain tires.
