Infiniti Prototype 10

The Infiniti Prototype 10 concept was just revealed at the 2018 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance after an intense four-month development process from drawing board to full-scale concept. The Infiniti Prototype 10 will be on display at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance on the Concept Lawn. It will be one of the attractions of the inaugural Japanese Automotive Invitational which (through their automotive innovation and history) puts Japan’s cultural influence center stage.

Infiniti Prototype 10

Last year, Infiniti debuted the Prototype 9 at the 2017 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. It was one of the highlights of the event. The reason for the development of this new Infiniti Prototype 10 is to show the electric future of Infiniti. Infiniti plans to electrify its entire fleet as of 2021.

According to Karim Habib, executive design director at Infiniti, “the Prototype 10 echoes the layout and design of some of the most evocative car designs of all time, where power was celebrated through high-powered single-seat competition cars. Our new concept speaks of an electrified future, something which is reflected in its form and details. It is appropriate that we found inspiration in an optimistic bygone era in which cars were characterized by the simple love of driving.”
