Where would you go to test the next Ranger Rover Evoque? One of the most off-road worthy luxury crossovers in its segment. The off-roader’s paradise of Moab, Utah comes to mind. This is precisely where Craig R. spotted this prototype.
The next Evoque is expected to arrive next with a familiar shape, but updated styling and even better aerodynamics. This is exactly what we see here. The headlights appear to be even more squinty than before. The tail lights are also fairly narrow. It’s immediately recognizable as an Evoque, and it appears to have approximately the same dimensions on the outside as the outgoing model.
There are reports that turbocharged gasoline, mild-hybrid, and a plug-in hybrid versions of the new Evoque will be available. However, there is information that there will be no full-electric version of the Evoque. Range Rover is apparently saving that for a special standalone model.
Expect the new Evoque interior to be very similar to some of the other new Range Rovers, such as the Velar. It means there will be dual infotainment screen in the center console to control everything from air conditioning to the music.
Big thanks to Craig for capturing these images and sending them to info@tflcar.com.
