Get an early look at the 2017 Mazda CX-5 that makes its world debut at the 2016 LA Auto Show. The latest iteration of the crossover may look like a cross between the current CX-3 and CX-9 put together, but Mazda takes it further as an expression of the latest Mazda KODO design language.
The overall shape and design is familiar, but the grille and front facia put a fresh twist on the KODO design. The interior also gets a styling, luxurious, and driver-centric makeover.
The 2017 CX-5 will go on sale in the Spring of 2017. Mechanical specifications are very scarce at this time, but we will keep you abreast of the all the latest developments with this styling crossover. Mazda did say that Skyactiv 2.0-liter and 2.5-liter will be part of the engine options going forward. Naturally, the car will be available with Mazda’s i-ACTIV AWD system and G-Vectoring Control (GVC).
