Chevrolet will not be left behind in the recent rejuvenation of the compact hatchback segment. Enter the 2017 Chevy Cruze Hatch. The company has released these images and information about the latest car ahead of its official world debut at the 2016 Detroit Auto Show, which kicks off with press days on January 11th, 2016.
The Cruze Hatch builds on the platform that also underpins the all-new 2016 Chevy Cruze sedan and adds the looks and the utility of a proper hatchback. The new platform and powertrain offer up to 200 lbs of weight savings over the previous generation.
The 2017 Cruze Hatch will be powered by the 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder and can be optioned with a host of latest driver assist features, such as: Lane Keep Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Side Blind Zone Alert and Rear Park Assist. The new Cruze sedan will be offered in L, LS, LT, and Premier trim levels, as well as an available sporty RS package. The Hatch is focused on the higher end with LT, Premier, and RS offerings.
