Andretti Autosport and Honda Powered race car driver Justin Wilson is no stranger to the Indy 500. In fact, Wilson was the fastest Honda driver in qualifying for this year’s race. He’ll be starting the race on Memorial Day on the outside of the second row in the No. 25 car.

This may be Wilson’s most important race of the year. He’s the driver on the team bubble this year as Andretti Autosport’s 4th Indy driver. A good showing at this year’s Indy could help him secure the sponsorship he needs to continue racing this year.

“Obviously, a good race is going to help a lot of things,’’ Wilson said. “But you’ve got to take it one step at a time.’’

When he’s not racing professionally, Wilson also servers as TFLcar’s test car driver. In his capable hands the TFL test BMW i8 becomes a full out track weapon as you can tell by the video below.

This weekend Wilson will once again put his racing skills to the test against some of the best race car drivers in the world. The 35-year-old Colorado resident is ready for the oldest race in America and more importantly he’s prepared to make the most of the opportunity to race a Honda powered race car for Andretti Autosport at the brickyard.

“You get very few opportunities in motor sports these days,’’ Wilson said. “You have to be ready to go at any moment. That is the way the industry is. … I pushed myself harder than ever before, just hoping the opportunity would come.’’

Is Justin ready to take on the 99th running of the Indy 500? We know he is and perhaps with his smooth racing skills, and a little bit of luck Justin Wilson will be drinking milk on Sunday with a huge smile on his face.

Good Luck Justin! The entire TFL team is rooting for you.
