The red hot 2016 Cadillac ATS-V roared onto the world stage just before the start of the LA Auto Show sporting some very impressive numbers and features including:

  • a 185 MPH Top Speed
  • a 0-60 MPH in 3.9 Seconds
  • a six-speed manual featuring Active Rev Match and launch control

So how does the 2016 Cadillac ATS-V achieve such serious performance numbers? The answer is Cadillac’s very first twin turbo-charged 3.6-liter V6 that produces 455 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque.

The choice is straightforward and rewarding to car enthusiast as the new caddy will come with either a a six-speed manual that features Active Rev Match or an eight-speed automatic.

  •   Brembo high-performance brake system developed to provide durability, consistency and the capability for track-day performance straight from the factory
    • Third-generation Magnetic Ride Control, which delivers 40 percent faster damping response
    • Integrated chassis controls that provide balanced performance for touring and the track, including class-exclusive Performance Traction Management
    • Structural stiffness increased by 25 percent for higher cornering loads
    • Driver-selectable driving modes for touring, sport and track
    • Tri-compound tires offering excellent grip with extended tire wear
    • Available downforce-generating track aerodynamics package
  • 009cadillac-ats-v-1The 2016 Cadillac ATS-V will be sold as both a coupe and a sedan when it goes on sale in the spring of next year.

Look for seriously enhanced  performance  interior including standard suede inserts and optional 16-way-adjustable Recaro front seats. And just like the current current Chevy Corvette the  2016 Cadillac ATS-V will get GM’s Performance Data Recorder which allows drivers to record and track key performance aspects of the vehicle like 0-60 MPH times and lateral G force numbers.
