Meet the Designer of the 2016 Mazda Miata MX-5 [Video]

We know what the car looks like. Check out the image gallery of the 2016 Miata MX-5. The front is lower and more aggressive. The hood is longer and the profile of the car evokes classic roadster (cab-rearward) proportions. The interior is focused on the driver with a large tachometer smack in the middle of the gauge cluster.

We still do not have most of the specifications. The one piece of data we know is that the ND generation car is around 220 pounds lighter than the NC roadster.

In this insider TFLcar interview Roman Mica sits down with Derek Jenkins to find out what designs inspired the new next Mazda Miata MX-5. View full TFLcar coverage of the 2016 MX-5.
