The V series of vehicles marks Cadillac’s attempt to enter the high performance luxury vehicle market competing against the BMW M5, Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG, Audi S6, and many other high quality luxury vehicles. The most extreme of the V series, the CTS-V is powered by a Corvette ZR-1 sourced supercharged 6.2L V8 that produces 556 horsepower. It has GM’s Magnetic Ride Control to create comfort when driving on the road and performance on the track, and brakes from Italian specialist Brembo to help bring the heavy beast to a stop.

The next generation of V-series vehicles is currently in development and scheduled to debut next year. In the mean time, check out Nathan’s review of the CTS-V!
