Fresh from heavy restyling and re-engineering, the 2015 Nissan Murano makes its debut at the 2014 New York Auto Show. Stretched 2.5-inches, the 2015 Nissan Murano has more rear legroom (2.5-inches), four-cubic feet of additional cargo space and it weighs about 130-lbs less than the previous model.
Despite having the same 260 horsepower 3.5-liter V6 engine that makes 240 lbs-feet of torque as the old model, Nissan claims an increase of 20% in fuel efficiency. Both the engine and the continuously variable transmission (CVT) have been updated to be more efficient. Front-wheel drive is standard and all-wheel drive (AWD) is optional on the 2015 Nissan Murano.
