2015 Chevy Trax Makes Its New York Auto Show Debut

The 2015 Chevy Trax made its debut at the New York Auto Show adding a small, turbocharged SUV to the Chevy portfolio.

This new SUV combines small-car agility with the functionality of an SUV and includes plenty of technology. There’s OnStar 4G LTE and a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot, MyLink with the segment’s only seven-inch color touch screen and Siri Eyes Free which is a first in its class.

The 2015 Chevy Trax has a turbocharged, 4-cylinder, 1.4L Ecotec paired to a six-speed automatic transmission with an estimated 138 horsepower and 148 lb-ft of torque. It has a 100.6-inch wheelbase and wide 60.6-inch stance to give a strong, confident driving experience.

Standard safety features include a rearview camera, electronic stability control incorporating traction control and rollover mitigation features, ABS and electronic brake force distribution, cornering brake control and brake assist. There are also 10 standard airbags.
