This is a perfect example of how not to make a political video. And just when we thought that American politicians had hot a new low in the national budget defense this video proves that American homegrown politicians still have further to fall from national grace.
At least their not willy-nilly crushing our cars with so called tanks to prove how tough they are.
According to recently published reports:
“Local citizens of the town (Vilnius, Lithuania) are reportedly tired of luxury car owners constantly parking in the various cycleways and have requested the local council do something about it.
So, as reassurance that the public can rely on the council to clear up such matters, mayor of Vilnius, Arturas Zuokas, jumped in an tank and drove over a Mercedes-Benz S-Class that was parked in the lane.“
First of all the video’s title, “Vilnius Mayor A.Zuokas Fights Illegally Parked Cars with Tank,” is just plain wrong.
The so called tank in the video below is an armored personal carrier. The entire video is obviously just a huge set-up as the now crunched Benz owner seems completely undisturbed by the fact that show-off mayor has just (we can only assume is illegally) crushed is luxury car.
The cherry on this political crap cake?
When the Mayor gets busy sweeping up the mess he’s just made because you know that he spends his days in office sweeping up any political mess, or citizen complaint, that may come his way.
And just like John Wayne the mayor explains, “I’ve had enough of these drivers parking their luxury cars on bike lanes and pedestrian crossings. This tank is a good tool to solve the problem of parking in the wrong place.?
Really!?!
