No Alfa Romeo for America…at least not yet

Alfa Romeo’s long anticipated return to American shores has been pushed back at least six months according to European published reports.

Why?

Fiat-Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne doesn’t like the design of the Alfa Romeo line-up slated to be introduced in America. But perhaps of interest he doesn’t like the Alfa Romeo line-up for Europe either which in practical terms means that the Giulia, a European mid-size sedan, won’t arrive until mid-2013 at the earliest in Europe.

At the recent Geneva Auto Show we had the chance to check out the new Alfa Romeo 4C concept car, and we can happily report that the basy brother to the 8C Alfa Romeo supercar is spectacular.

Check out the car in the exclusive TFLcar recap video below from the 2011 Geneva Auto Show.
