Here's a pretty easy question that you can answer in a heartbeat: If highway police in Italy drive a Lamborghini Gallardo what do police in England drive?
The answer of course is a jaguar XF….one of seven new English police cars to be exact.

To be precise a Diesel S model that comes with 3.0-liter engine putting out 275 HP and 443lb-ft of peak torque, while still getting 42mpg in UK numbers.
So it certainly may not be a cool as THIS Italian police Lamborghini that the fine officers from the Southern part of Europe recently crashed but we're betting that it is a lot more comfortable as a daily scones and coffee driver.

"Police forces across the country have been evaluating the XF and we are delighted that the team at the Central Motorway Police Group has chosen Jaguar to join its fleet," said Geoff Cousins, Managing Director for Jaguar Cars UK.
According to carsccop.com:
"The police-spec XFs get a special package that includes a roof mounted light bar with 3600 blue flashing lights and integrated side alley lights, blue and white flashing LED lights inside the front grille, side mounted blue flashing LED lights, blue and red flashing LED lights integrated in the rear light clusters and a Home Office-specification electronics 'Police pack'."
