Despite some doom and gloom, you can still buy a few 2024 cars with a manual transmission.
If you’re a card carrying member of the row-your-own-gears club, there’s good news for 2024! While we’ve inevitably seen some attrition (RIP to the Dodge Challenger), you can still have a decent number of options if you’re gunning for a manual transmission. It’s not just low-slung sports cars, either, though that end of the market still provides some great choices. A couple SUVs and pickups also feature here, so there is a little something for everyone at pretty much every level of the market.
Admittedly, I do still have to acknowledge the cars that no longer feature on the list. With the Chevy Camaro now in the history books and Mini’s decision to drop the Clubman, as well as Subaru’s refreshed Impreza and Crosstrek going CVT-only, this year’s list is indeed shorter than previous years.
