Ford Baby Bronco

We don’t many official details and specs about this upcoming compact crossover from Ford, but all information says that it will be based on the new unibody architecture also used by the all-new 2020 Ford Escape.

This upcoming off-road biased compact crossover is often referred to as “baby Bronco”, but it’s also known as Adventurer or Maverick. It’s unclear which name it will use officially for production. It’s called a “baby Bronco” because Ford is also working on a larger truck-based Bronco, which will use a new Ford Ranger frame and chassis.

It’s interesting to see the baby Bronco prototypes in Moab, Utah – a premier destination for off-road enthusiasts everywhere. Ford appears to be very serious about the off-road capability of its newest crossover. When it goes on sale, it’s expected to compete against the likes of the Jeep Renegade Trailhawk. We cannot wait to test these latest crossovers in Colorado and in Moab, Utah.
