Is there really any difference with the new 2017 Toyota Corolla?
TFL’s Nathan Adlen wanted to find out and got behind the wheel of a new Corolla during a recent test drive in central California.
Right away, Nathan saw that the new Corolla came equipped with a 1.8 liter VVT-I four cylinder engine, producing 132 horsepower and 128 pound feet of torque, same as last year. With a continuously variable transmission, the vehicle also got a similar 31 mpg combined, making it an extremely efficient vehicle for just under $19,000.
But what is actually different with the 2017 Corolla, which is heading to dealers and will be available for sale any day?
At first glance, people who are familiar with the Corolla brand will notice a redesigned outer appearance as well as several other new additions inside.
